Hvide Sande Masterclass is now open for registration.
There are only 21 exclusive spots available for violinists, violists, cellists, 1 bassist, pianists, and ensembles.
You can apply as a soloist and/or as part of a chamber music ensemble.
Application deadline is May 1, 2024.
As a participant, you will receive:
Daily solo and/or chamber music lessons.
Accompaniment sessions.
Your own room in a luxury cottage.
3 daily meals and refreshments with cake, coffee, and fruit.
Opportunity to perform in several of the 10 concerts.
Professional recordings of some of the concerts.
Beautiful nature experiences and access to a bicycle.
Price: 5000 DKK, payable upon acceptance of the applicant in early June.
Daily schedule:
8-9 AM: Breakfast
9 AM – 12 PM: Masterclass: Solo, chamber music, and side-by-side (ensemble with a professor involved in the group)
12-1 PM: Lunch
1-3:30 PM: Masterclass: Solo, chamber music, and side-by-side
3:30-4 PM: Coffee and cake
4-5:30 PM: Masterclass: Solo, chamber music, and side-by-side
5:30-6:30 PM: Dinner
7:30 PM: Concerts or string orchestra
If applying as a group, each member must apply individually and write their own name + the group’s name in the “Name” box.
