Hvide Sande Masterclass is now open for registration.

At Hvide Sande Masterclass there are only 28 exclusive places for violinists, violists, cellists, 1 bassist, pianists and ensembles.

You can apply as a soloist and/or as a chamber music ensemble.
Deadline for application is April 15, 2026.

As a participant, you will receive:

– Daily solo and/or chamber music lessons.
– Solo participants also participate in a side-by-side chamber music group.
– Accompaniment lessons.
– Private room in luxury summer house by the fjord.
– 3 daily meals and refreshments in the form of cake, coffee and fruit.
– Opportunity to play at several of the concerts.
– Professional recordings and photos of some of the concerts.
– Beautiful nature experiences and a bicycle provided.
– String players will receive a set of strings from Larsen Strings.
– A violin maker will be on hand to help with small repairs, instrument lending and guidance.
– Arrival September 12. Departure September 19.

String quartet of the year:

If you are selected as this year’s string quartet, you get the week’s stay completely free.
You will arrive on September 10, two days before the other participants, and perform at the 4 opening concerts on September 10 and 11 and at the crossover concert on September 20. You will receive hotel and meals as well as extra exposure for you as a quartet, and a unique opportunity to work intensively together under the guidance of Hvide Sande Masterclass’ professors.

Price: 900 euro for the whole event!
Please note that many foundations are happy to support participation at Hvide Sande Masterclass.
If you are selected to participate, you must pay a deposit of 150 Euro before your participation is confirmed. Otherwise the place will be given to someone else.
You cannot attend a partial Hvide Sande Masterclass, but must be present from September 12-19 (September 10-20 as this year’s quartet).

If applying as a group, each member must apply individually and write their own name + the group’s name in the “Name” box.
